How Fan Artistry Works.

  • Creators

    Creators add products to our point-of-sale platform and select associated brand(s) for each product.

  • Brand

    Brands

    Brands add their policies to the system. Creators must accept the terms to be able to create work for the brand.

  • Sale Is Made

    Transaction is processed through our unique point-of-sale system, either in-person at conventions or art markets or online.

  • Transaction is Split

    At the point-of-sale, the transaction is automatically split between all parties. Brands receive their royalties instantly.

FAQs for Creators

  • Exact numbers will vary based on a number of factors. For brands, the contract terms will dictate royalties. For creators, it will vary based on brands used and plan chosen. Generally, creators will make between 65% and 80% of each sale.

  • No! Unlike traditional licensing, creators pay zero upfront fees to access brands! The only upfront costs are for creators who want to sell in person, in which case they’ll need to buy a card reader from our processor (or they can use an existing one if they already have one!) And if you buy through us, we’ll even refund the entire cost of your card reader once you reach $2,000 in sales!

  • At the moment, the only way to get an invite is to get one from one of our existing creators or sign up to our mailing list and social media where we’ll occasionally hand out a few. We’re purposely limiting growth in the beginning to ensure the system continues running smoothly for everyone.
